With
the coming of the 11th World Hepatitis Day, hosted by China Liver Health and
organized by Lanzhou University Second Hospital, the training session on
“Hepatitis C Elimination by Full Cooperation” hospital process management ,as
well as the awarding ceremony of the diagnosis and treatment base was held on
the afternoon of July 27. Leaders from China CDC, Li Mingyang, director of China
Liver Health, Fang Jianping, second-level inspector of Gansu Province Health
Commission, and Wangchen,chairman of Lanzhou University Second Hospital attended the session
and gave speeches. Meng Ling,deputy director of medical department and deputy
director of inspection medical center and Zhang Lingyi,director of liver
disease department of the hospital attended. He Jirui, director of the medical department
of the hospital presided over the session.
Inspector Fang Jianping said, “Gansu is a province with high incidence
of liver C. We need to attach great importance to it. Health administrative
departments and medical institutions at all levels should continue to
strengthen the prevention and treatment of hepatitis C, monitor the sentinels
of venereal disease roundly, carry out publicity and education and online
consultation, conduct the prevention and control from three elements of
infectious disease epidemic, control the source of infection and the
transmission pathway, cut off the transmission route, so as to protect the susceptible
population.
Director Wangchen extended a warm welcome to all the
participants, and gave sincere thanks to Gansu Provincial Health Commission for
the care and support.He said that the meeting will effectively improve the screening,diagnosis and antiviral treatment of chronic
hepatitis C patients , as well as the infection control management and
supervision of Lanzhou University Second Hospital, and enhance the awareness of
liver disease professionals on hepatitis C, which is conducive to the hospital
to carry out standard monitoring and treatment, so as to improve the diagnosis
rate, referral rate and treatment rate of hepatitis C patients.
