| From June to September 2022, under the support of the "Special Fund for Action to Eliminate Hepatitis C Public Health Hazards" of the China Foundation for the Prevention of STD AIDS, the China Liver Health will carry out six basic level hepatitis C prevention and control personnel training in Yunnan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Sichuan and other four provinces in southwest China, improve the awareness of hepatitis C prevention and control in hospitals at and above the county level in four provinces and the ability of hepatitis C prevention and control in CDC, and improve the ability of hepatitis C detection and diagnosis and treatment, expand the influence of pilot projects and promote the realization of the action goal of eliminating hepatitis C hazards.
The first training was held on July 7 53 person times of senior experts from national, provincial, municipal or county/district level in the fields of hepatitis C prevention, clinical treatment and laboratory testing gave lectures,3210person times of hepatitis C prevention and treatment personnel from county-level and above hospitals and disease control centers attended the meeting and learned, promoting the follow-up management project of previous cases. The training focused on six major themes: technical strategy of the action plan to eliminate the public health hazards of hepatitis C, hepatitis C case report and information system, hepatitis C prevention and treatment guide (2019 version), current situation of hepatitis C treatment in China, analysis of experience in follow-up management of previous reports of county and district disease control and primary health service institutions on hepatitis C cases, and sharing and discussion of experience in diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis C. In September 2021, nine ministries and commissions, including the National Health Commission, formulated and released the Action Plan for Eliminating the Public Health Hazards of Hepatitis C （2021-2030） to further strengthen the prevention and treatment of hepatitis C (hepatitis C) in China, continuously reduce the prevalence of hepatitis C, and ensure the health of the people. The Work Program mentioned the goal of more than 90% and 100% of professionals receiving hepatitis C related training in 2025 and 2030, respectively. Capacity building and training of prevention and control personnel provide an important guarantee for eliminating the harm of hepatitis C. In order to help China achieve the goal of eliminating hepatitis C hazards by 2030, the China Foundation for the Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS, in combination with the Special Fund for Action to Eliminate the Public Health Hazards of Hepatitis C, supported the past case follow-up management project carried out in four provinces in southwest China, and entrusted the China United Liver Health Promotion Center as the implementing agency to carry out competency training for grass-roots hepatitis C prevention and control personnel in the project area. The training objects are mainly the disease control, clinical and project related personnel of the previous pilot project area of follow-up management of hepatitis C cases in Yunnan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces, as well as the hepatitis C prevention and control related personnel at all levels in other provinces who volunteer to participate in this training. The trainees said that the training content was comprehensive, authoritative and novel, and the online learning time was flexible, with strong practicality and reference. |
