From September 25th to 27th, China Liver Health (CLH) jointly launched the large-scale free clinic activity called Protecting Liver Health with Action in collaboration with QingSong Health and Public Mutual. Internet users can get access to CLH and Dora Internet Liver Disease Centre through the WeChat applet of Dora Internet Hospital and further receive free consultation from hundreds of well-known experts in China. Established by CLH and QingSong Health Group, the CLH and Dora Internet Liver Disease Centre was first launched at the annual meeting of hepatology society of Chinese Medical Association on Sep 13, 2020, with the aim of responding to the call of “Internet + Healthcare” and working with nationwide experts to ensure grassroots patients’ access to high-quality diagnosis and treatment service for liver disease. The famous hepatologist Zhuang Hui serves as the chief scientist. Professor Wei Lai from Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, chairman Xu Xiaoyuan, chairman-designate Nan Yuemin and secretary-general Li Jie from hepatology society of Chinese Medical Association serve as conveners of the high-level expert group to guide the development of the organization. Li Mingyang, director of CLH, said that this event was the first large-scale free clinic held in China since the launch of the CLH and Dora Internet Liver Disease Centre. Facing the challenge of COVID-19 outbreak, experts and specialists from well-known tertiary hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other places make full use of 5G network and other information and communication technologies to carry out online consultation, online inquiry and health education through the online medical platform so that the public can get access to healthcare at home, reducing the risk of going out for medical treatment, and contributing to fighting the coronavirus pandemic. The free clinic event coincides with the 6th anniversary of the founding of QingSong Health Group. Liver Protection Plan for the Public is launched at the same time.
