On December 8, 2018, China's Elimination of Hepatitis C Alliance Charity Project came to Fuyu City, Jilin Province, and provided professional training to more than 160 medical workers in the People's Hospital, CDC and Township Health Centers of the city. Liu Zhongfu, deputy director of the China National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, explained the "Chinese Viral Hepatitis Prevention and Control Plan (2017-2020)" for the students; Professor Niu Junqi of the First Hospital of Jilin University gave a comprehensive explanation on the detection and treatment of hepatitis C; Jilin University first Professor Pan Wei introduced the status and challenges of prevention and control of hepatitis C in Jilin Province and Fuyu City; Professor Li Wei from Peking University Medical School, Dr. Yang Ming from Peking University People's Hospital, and Fifth Medical Center of PLA General Hospital (formerly 302 Hospital of PLA) Dr. Ji Dong Dr. Liu Yali from Beijing You'an Hospital gave lectures on HCV genotypes in the DAA era, treatment of hepatitis C patients with other diseases, and treatment and management strategies for hepatitis B. The training was sponsored by Zhonglian Liver Health Promotion Center and undertaken by Fuyu Municipal Health and Welfare Bureau. Director Yang Wenxue of Fuyu Municipal Health Bureau, Deputy Director Liu Xin, Director Mao Yuyu of the Afghan Center of China CDC, and Deputy Director Yao Laishun of Jilin Provincial Center for Disease Control attended the opening ceremony of the training session. Director of the training session, Director Li Mingyang of Zhonglian Liver Health Promotion Center introduced that the China Elimination of Hepatitis C Alliance Charity Project was launched on September 3, 2017 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. It is a famous liver disease expert, professor of Peking University Medical Department, and Zhonglian Liver Health Promotion Center. Honorary Chairman Zhuang Hui, Academician of the Sixth Session of the Chinese Medical Association Hepatology Branch, Director of the Institute of Liver Diseases of Peking University, and Prof. Wei Lai, Chairman of the China Association for Liver Health Promotion, led by the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the State Under the guidance of the CDC and the China CDC, the work of the CDC and the China CDC has been actively coordinated and supported by local governments.  As of December 2018, the project has carried out the policy of more than 10 rounds of hepatitis C drugs into medical insurance in Shaanxi, Anhui, Jilin, Hunan, Fujian and other places, training more than 1,500 grassroots liver disease doctors, and conducting 6252 infection screenings, greatly improving The grassroots government's understanding, attention and confidence in the work of eliminating hepatitis C have improved the willingness of the public, especially those at high risk of hepatitis C infection, to actively detect and treat hepatitis C, and improve the level of hepatitis C diagnosis and treatment of primary liver disease doctors. Director Li said that hepatitis C DAA drugs have been included in the reimbursement of urban workers in Changchun City, Jilin Province. This training will help Fuyu first-line doctors master this latest hepatitis C diagnosis and treatment technology, and comprehensively promote the detection, treatment and follow-up of Fuyu's hepatitis C.
