On 23 December 2021, the Yunnan Station of the "China Liver Health Screening and Treatment Health Consortium" was inaugurated in Kunming. At the inauguration ceremony, Meridian Health Yunnan announced that it would cooperate with the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province and its 19 branches to build a health protection channel for people with liver abnormalities in the medical check-up population, creating the first "integrated screening, diagnosis and treatment" health service system for liver diseases in the southwest.
On 16 July 2021, the China Liver Health, the Fatty Liver and Alcoholic Liver Disease Group of the Chinese Medical Association, Meridian Health, Heskell and China Resources Sanjiu signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the "Blue Book on Liver Health in China's Health Screening Population" and the "China Liver Health Screening and Diagnosis and Treatment Health Consortium" Programme . The five parties will integrate their resources and form a joint effort to build a health consortium linking liver health screening in medical check-ups and liver disease diagnosis and treatment in public hospitals, moving liver health from clinical diagnosis and treatment to health screening and providing innovative solutions for the prevention and treatment of liver disease in China. The Health Consortium will also regularly publish the "Blue Book on Liver Health in China's Health Screening Population", which is based on liver health data from a large number of people undergoing health screening, to raise public awareness of liver health and provide a reference for public health decisions.

The launch meeting of the "China Liver Health Screening - Diagnosis and Treatment Health Consortium" in Yunnan Professor Wei Lai said that the incidence rate of hepatitis B in Yunnan is currently about 3 per 10,000, which is a relatively low level in China. This is due to the fact that Yunnan's medical colleagues have established a comprehensive treatment system in the field of liver disease, and is an important reason why the "China Liver Health Screening and Treatment Consortium" chose Yunnan as its first stop. It is hoped that Yunnan First People's Hospital and Meridian Health Yunnan will set a benchmark and demonstrate the integration of liver health screening and diagnosis and treatment in China, and drive the development of liver health across the country.
